The Laboratory of Steam Boilers and Thermal Plants of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA - LSBTP) has a wide expertise and is active for over 30 years in the fields of energy efficiency and savings from central and decentralized thermal plants, heat/mass transfer phenomena, process simulation/optimization and development of advanced cycles for power generation, tri-generation of electricity heating cooling as well as integration of renewable energy sources in thermal processes.

Σύγκριση κόστους θέρμανσης από διάφορες τεχνολογίες, Δεκέμβριος 2022, 2η έκδοση

Με αφορμή την έναρξη της χειμερινής σεζόν 2022-2023, το Εργαστήριο Ατμοκινητήρων και Λεβήτων του ΕΜΠ σε συνεργασία με το Εργαστήριο Θερμικών Διεργασιών και λαμβάνοντας σημαντική υποστήριξη από το Ινστιτούτο Χημικών Διεργασιών και Ενεργειακών Πόρων του ΕΚΕΤΑ, προχώρησε πρόσφατα στη δημοσίευση μελέτης (1η Έκδοση) σχετικά με τα επίπεδα που αναμένεται να κυμανθεί φέτος το κόστος θέρμανσης στην Ελλάδα (με έμφαση στις δυο μεγαλύτερες αστικές περιοχές: Αττική & Θεσσαλονίκη), υπό το καθεστώς της παρατεταμένης ενεργειακής κρίσης που επικρατεί στην Ευρώπη και της απολύτ

H μελέτη υπό τον τίτλο «Σύγκριση κόστους θέρμανσης από διάφορες τεχνολογίες» αποτελεί μια επικαιροποιημένη έκδοση της αντίστοιχης μελέτης που δημοσιεύτηκε το Δεκέμβριο του 2017 από το Εργαστήριο Ατμοκινητήρων και Λεβήτων του ΕΜΠ, σε συνεργασία με το Ινστιτούτο Χημικών Διεργασιών και Ενεργειακών Πόρων του ΕΚΕΤΑ.

«Prof. Gianfranco Angelino» Best Poster Award on the “ORC 2021Conference - 6th International Seminar on ORC Power Systems”

The research work presented by Efstrations Varvagiannis (PhD Candidate of the School of Mech. Eng. NTUA) was awarded as the best poster in the above seminar, which was held on 11th-13th October 2021. The study resulted from the interdisciplinary co-operation of the Laboratory of Steam Boilers and Thermal Plants of the School of Mechanical Engineering-NTUA and the laboratory of Process Control and Informatics of the School of Chemical Engineering-NTUA.
